A complete attic apartment renovation designed in collaboration with IPE Progetti, Casa Volkhart transforms a previously unfinished shell into a refined and highly tailored living environment in the heart of Turin. The project involved the full architectural redesign of the interior, including new wall systems, finishes, custom joinery, and the addition of a new balcony to strengthen the apartment’s connection to the cityscape. Positioned within the attic level, the residence benefits from unique views toward both the Gran Madre di Dio and the Mole Antonelliana, becoming an integral part of the spatial experience. Defined by a minimal yet warm aesthetic, the design combines clean white surfaces with continuous white oak detailing, creating a calm and sophisticated atmosphere throughout the home. New skylights were introduced to maximize natural light within the existing roof geometry, enhancing the perception of space and materiality. Every furniture element was custom designed specifically for the client, allowing the apartment to achieve a highly integrated and luxurious character while responding precisely to functional and lifestyle needs.
